Norwood Green masterplan,
Norwood, SA
Norwood Green captures the eclectic heart of Adelaide’s most sought-after suburb
Tectvs developed the master plan and designed a diverse collection of townhouses and apartments for what is fast becoming one of Adelaide’s premier inner-city developments. Located on the old Caroma site, the new precinct will allow its residents to live within proximity to shops, eateries and beautiful heritage homes.
The apartments comprise of one, two and three-bedroom homes with car parks, across five six-storey buildings, arranged around a communal private village green. The industrial history of the site informs the aesthetic of the building facades. The architecture features light-filled open spaces, sustainability features such as solar panels to the community area and apartments, cross-ventilation, and bicycle storage all serve to create memorable, liveable spaces.

The townhouses will be four unique groups of residences situated on Stephen Street, a quiet lane forming the southern border of the development. The two and three-bedroom homes have been designed with car parking and take design cues from the sites’ industrial past. They will highlight textural variation between timber, brick, and concrete, creating modern architecture that is beautiful, yet functional.
